Job Role

Hispec are looking for a Regional Specification Manager to help grow their brand of Fire & CO Detection products.

The key responsibilities of the successful applicant would be to achieve specification amongst electrical contractors, housing associations, local authorities, house builders, property developers and fire & rescue services. This will then be complimented by the ability to build strong, long lasting relationships with our electrical wholesale partners.

This is a fantastic opportunity to sell an affordable product range, with excellent after sales support, into a currently overpriced market.


An ideal applicant must be self-motivated, determined and enthusiastic. The success of the position will rely heavily on the effort and commitment of the candidate, a perfect role to make your own. They must also be very comfortable presenting to large and small groups of prospective customers and have excellent communication skills.


The successful applicant will need to have a clean, full driving licence as travel is required. They will also require a high level of competency on Microsoft Office products.

Experience within the specification market is essential but this doesn’t necessarily have to be within Fire & CO Detection or lighting, although this would be preferable.

The specification manager will cover parts of Scotland. The exact region will depend on various factors.

This is a salaried position with very competitive rates of commission that will vary dependent on the relevant experience of the applicant.
